I was listening...

As so often He does, the Lord gave me something to focus on.

The other day when I was preparing to meet someone who often seems "thorny", I felt my energy draining... just as clear as could be was, "I am your JOY."  Not people, circumstances, or situations, JESUS is my joy and I need to remember to focus on Him first so He can give me the proper "lenses" to look through.  Especially during the Christmas season, are we intentionally looking through our JESUS lenses at those many moments we are feeling joy-less?



Focus on Him and He will give us exactly what we need for the moment and for the day.  He will help us see others as He sees them - sinners saved by grace, or more importantly, sinners in need of grace.
